June 15 - Marine Life

Today was supposed to be our Disney day, but everyone got sunburned

yesterday. V and V had never been sunburned before, so they were

not used to the pain associated with it. Instead, we went to Ripley's

Believe it or Not! ... the girls hated it! We remember J loving it, so it's

more of a "boy" place. Then we walked around the Crystal Cathedral

(Robert Schuller's church). It was beautiful. I didn't take any pictures

as I had been there before ... but I should have to put them on the blog.

Oh well. Then we checked into the hotel where they had all these koi fish.

V and V fell in love with them and couldn't stop taking pictures of them.

Across the street from the hotel was Crystal Cove State Park.

We took a fun walk down to the ocean where there were tide pools

full of marine life, especially crabs. We had a blast exploring!

It was a beautiful, sunny day and the ocean hitting the

rocks was so fun to watch.
