The girls experienced a true midwest thunderstorm early this morning.
The wind blew for about 2 hours before the storm finally
arrived. It was a doozy ... lots of thunder, lightning and even hail.
We headed in town for an early lunch at our fav deli. Then we
checked out more quaint stores in town. This is the original
bank vault door, but it now a vintage music shoppe.
Before we left for town, it poured rain. About 30 minutes later Dad
received a call saying one of his fields got hailed on during that storm.
Lots of damage!

The girls found a ladybug and they were impressed that it was
really red, unlike the ones at home that are orange.
