September 4 - "Disneyland" Day

Okay, so we didn't take the kids to Disneyland, but since

we decided to not do the local hotel for a night, we wanted

to spoil the kids a little. First we did Daddy's soda route.

Here is R patiently waiting.

Then we ventured to the mall where the girls were

treated to a cinnamon-sugar pretzel (with coupons it

only cost us a total of $3). We played at Gameworks (free)

and topped it off with a smoothie (with coupon $5).

(Note new clothes for older girls that were given to

us from a total unexpected mother ... cute stuff!!!!)

Our plan was to rent a Redbox video, BUT the older girls

got a call from their BFF and ended up spending the night

with her. D, R, and I went to use a gift card

I had won a year ago. R and I played while we waited

for our table.

R is still scared of flying bugs. Here she is waving her wand

to shoo away a fly. It was a very special, inexpensive day!
